I always, always encourage people to read negative reviews on Good Reads, Amazon, B&N and wherever else e-books are sold.

I'm not here to write any pieces of literary genius.

I'm wordy and fluffy. I write long books. That ain't changin'.

There will be no insta-love.

I will drag things out.

My characters are indecisive. They're assholes. They're indecisive assholes. They're young. They're immature. And they curse a fucking lot. Everyone's pretty much fucked up and engaging in morally questionable things.

I have no desire to depict idealistic versions of human beings. My characters will do stupid things. They will reveal flaws. They might be annoying and destructive. I'm not perfect and I won't create someone who is. Fictional people are still people.

I probably won't ever write a good girl/bad boy romance.

Sometimes I'm horrible to my characters. HORRIBLE.

I won't write a lot of angst or alpha male behavior.

I will write cheating.

There won't be much begging and pleading and crying. Men will do no more groveling than the women.

I don't do sweet, straightforward and well-adjusted romances or people. Because why?

I LOVE back and forth and messiness between characters.

I love me a cliffhanger.

I hope to God I'm never the person you turn to when you want comfort and safety.

I will NEVER, EVER, EVER guarantee a happily ever after... EVER.
